Happy Easter
So our last few holidays didn’t go so well. I was determined to make this Easter a “Real Holiday”

When I left home, Mom gave me a box of “Easter Stuff.” I never really took a good look at it, but when it came time to decorate I was so excited. All of the little decorations from my childhood were in that box. It was so fun to decorate and everyday when I come home I walk in and say “Oh, look at my little decorations” with a big smile on my face.

Desperate for Sun
When I lived in Corpus Christi… I was complaining if the temperature fell below 75. It was FREEZING! After trudging through the winter slush for the last few months we are ecstatic when the sun comes out. It may still be 40 degrees outside, but if that sun is out, me and my little family is at the beach, taking a walk around the neighborhood or doing something to take advantage of the “great weather.”

The first sunny day….Walter was digging it.

Robert and I have been so lucky to make so many good friends up here…

Me and my friends found these two girls “gender-bending” in a cafe… we though we should join in.

Making it through our first winter!
Life on the east coast is COLD! I have to say Walter is tolerating it the best. He LOVES the snow. Actually, Robert and I really don’t mind it because we have a lot of good chances to go skiing in New Hampshire and Vermont.

Happy Birthday To Me
Patricia came up to Cape Cod for our birthday. We made the short but scary drive down to NYC and had a weekend of fun.

Having fun in the tunnel!
Heath and Audi came to visit!!
Heath told me a couple of weeks ago that he and Audi would be coming to visit for a few days. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to ask for the days off… UNTIL… My ADON heard that my family was coming and managed to cover all of my shifts… she told me… don’t worry about anything its all covered! Boy what a Christmas gift!
Heath and Audi arrived at 2am on Wednesday night… I went to pick them up at the gate and when within the few minutes I was gone, Walter had explosive diarrhea all over his crate
*Note: I know that most of you do not come into contact with explosive diarrhea on a daily basis, I apologize if you happen to be eating at the moment.
So as Heath is trying to very quietly carry Audrey in the house he is slapped in the face with a horrible stench and Walter is screaming his head off. So much for a quiet entrance. Audi woke up and sat on the kitchen counter with Heath while they both laughed about what a horrible thing had just happened. Everything got worked out… we went to bed… the next morning Wally started squeaking so I start tip toeing out of the room so I don’t wake anyone up. As I come out of my room, what do I see but an Audi tip toeing out of her room. We got Walter happy for the morning and then went to the exchange on a shopping spree where we just had to pick up some toe-nail polish, lip stick, perfume and doritos for little Miss A. We got back… go the boys rolling and then headed off to Boston for a day at the aquarium!!!!

When we got back we took Audrey to see Roberts helicopter… she was little shy at first but had a lot of fun jumping in and out of the big helo

Finally we came home… put our PJ’s on, played with the dogs, made some cupcakes, ate some chocolate batter and then fell fast asleep!!

The next morning… once again me and Audi snuck out of our rooms without waking anyone… decorated our cupcakes and at a well balanced meal of milk, chocolate, and icing! Heath was not that suprised when he woke up… Robert told him this is a staple for breakfast in my world.

Friday we took Audrey to the Sandwich Glass Museum, which might be the most boring museum I have ever been to, but somehow Audi had fun and made out with a few marbles to boot!

We had such a fun visit and we were sad to see our company go….

Walter especially.
Merry Christmas
So everyone told us to start a tradition for our first Christmas together.
After working all day, getting lost on our way to a Christmas dinner at a friends (and never finding it), not being able to get a hold of anyone in my family, stopping at a gas station (the only store open on christmas on the cape) to get “dinner” (a frozen pizza, some frozen macaroni, and some frozen potatoe skins), and then going over to our friends house (who was actually gone visiting their family) to watch a movie because we don’t have a TV)…. I had a really tough time figuring out which part to pick as our official ”Williams Family Tradition”
I think I’m gonna go with the frozen potato skins… they were actually really good! And maybe the movie, Family Stone, which is a good tear jerker and had me ending my Christmas with a smile on my face.
All I know is Robert and I will NEVER forget our very unique and totally “us” first Christmas!

We did go skiing on Christmas Eve. I actually wore two coats and so many layers that I couldn’t button my pants… but let me tell you I sure didn’t get too cold!

Our friend Scotty went with us….

When we got back from skiing we opened presents! I got an IPOD shuffle!!

Robert got an iron to put wax on his snowboard… don’t ask me how that is an exciting present…

Walter got the biggest bone of his life!

And Babe was mighty happy with his little bone….
To all our friends and family… Thank you for all the gifts, cards, calls and care packages. I sure miss everyone!
